Mr. Brian Horne – Legal Advisor is a Barrister at Law and the holder of a Master of Laws (LLM) degree awarded by the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London (LSE). He is admitted to the Bar of England and Wales, the Republic of Guyana and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

He was a Crown Advocate in the Crown Prosecution Service of England and Wales in which capacity he specialized in Extradition, and in the confiscation of proceeds of crimes where recoverable assets were £100,000 or above. He advised Crown Prosecutors and senior Police officers regarding money laundering investigations and the making of financial inquiries abroad and, where necessary, drafted Letter of Requests to foreign jurisdictions including the USA, Canada, Spain, Japan, Colombia, India, Jamaica, and France. 

Brian also had a major representational role and delivered presentations to various Senior Government officials and Judges from Eastern Europe and China and the Bahamas on Mutual Legal Assistance and the law relating to confiscation proceedings in England and Wales. He represented the UK and chaired workshops at international conferences on cross border and proceeds of crime issues.
